Six Sea Salt and Cinnamon Caramel stroopwafels (Pardi ×6)

A stroopwafel is a Dutch sweet: two thin waffle layers with caramel between them. All three of our flavours share one dough; the difference is in the caramel. Each caramel starts with our own vanilla extract, made from whole vanilla beans we split and steep.

Caramel and sea salt, with a touch of Ceylon cinnamon. You can see the vanilla seeds in the caramel. We add just enough salt to sharpen its flavour.

Rest one on a hot cup for a minute and the caramel inside softens. It goes well with coffee or black tea.
